and moon mask
after going far back
into the sub-Sahara
while sky scanning
black talismanic
beaded patterns
with the smoothness
of two telescopic views
given little to do
in a huge video
while flying in and flying out
as an interactive Mountie
of Saskatchewan
in a purple fog
with plain markings
while signing his pots
like noble jars
apparent in stark
hooded parkas
for prodigies
in bristling bas relief
massive and unwieldy
like tribal leaders
draped in lions' skin...
