Hence the specimen
toxic to predators
exuding sap
when bruised
medicinally-
steeped leaves
coarse hairy
hundreds of heads
stout projections
widespread
erect wooly stems
thought to resemble
essential pussytoes
as sensual
grooved petals
eaten as greens
ranging from the deepest
serrated species
with shallow teeth
easily cultivated
dilated milky white
arched spines
prickly wings wiry
suffused by infusions
of bristling blue fruits...
